    All,

I got my passport stamped on Aug. 21 what should I do in terms of being an employee who holds GC?
Should I need to fill any kind of document(form)?
    What is Form I-9?

I'm still with the employer who sponsored my GC.
In other words, how can I say that I am not on H1B status any more?

    File I-9 with your employer.
This is INS form which says that you are legally employed and your newly established A# would prove it. Originally, when you joined on H1, you should have filed I-9 with your H1 visa number.
I got a copy made for me, when I filed it after POE, this way I can show I 'reported back to work' for my sponsor, but this is optional.

Nothing else would change in most companies. It is your duty now to show the good faith you had when you were sponsored and gone through CP interview, by working for your sponsor.

      Thanks Abu.
I do not remember about I-9 filling at the time of H1b hiring. Neither I have a copy of that.

Should I fill I-9 again with the same employer with A#? Moreover, this form is NOT sent to INS but is retained by the employer.

Is getting pay stub after GC good enough to prove the good faith/intention I have? Should I get something in black & white from sponsor that I am working for them after CP interview?

      Thanks once again.

pay stubs are what my lawyer suggested as proof.
You are still required to fill I-9. For some people that might be laid off just after returning from succesful CP, a copy of I-9 signed by you and HR rep is proof of good faith.
