10year GC problems! Pls. Help.

Ello ello all :-)

I have been married to my wife 3 years before I received my greencard and total 1 year after I received it. Its a 10 Year GC "Permanent Resident Card". She decided to up and leave her job virtualy the months after I received my GC. I heard that if you receive the 10year GC its ok to divorce and still applie within the 10 year period for citizenship? Everytime we have a fight she turns to the famous "Lets see what INS has to say about this then". So she realy has me by the ZZZxxx. Any help, suggestions, asnwers or anything that could point me towards my rights would be great help pls.

If you have got your permanent green card (the one with 10 years validity, and conditions removed), you don't have to worry about your spouse threatening you.

You can apply for citizenship. And as long as your marriage genuine when you got married, nothing to worry about.
