Hi,
My dad got Green card on July 2012. He was there for few months. Got an extention and been here for almost 1 year. The re-entry permit is valid till December 2014. He will be flying this December 2014. But he has some personal commitments here. He wanted to come back in two months say by Feb 2015. The question is whether there are any chances of GC getting invalid. I believe once in six months we need to be there. Correct me if i am wrong. If suppose he comes back in Feb, what would be the deadline date to go back to US to avoid hurdles.
Please Clarify.
