  • Switching Employer - Change of Address.

Hi guys, I need an advise from you

I switched my sponsoring employer in less than a month after getting the I-551 Stamp.
In fact I switched to one of the clients of my sposoring employer after getting a letter from my employer permiting me to work for that client.

Now, I changed my address, I am trying to fill form
AR-11 "change of address" and I found a section states
"I work for or attend school at: Employer's Name or Name of school"

what should I write in this section, my sponsoring employer or my current employer ?

If I write my current employer, would the INS validate it with the info they have on file and give me trouble ?

Please let me know what you guys think ?

You also need to fill up I-9 with your new employer, which goes to INS.
    Not advisable to lie.

I filled up I-9 form with my employer after returning from cp. When I asked the person who took the I-9, she said this form is kept in the office and is not sent anywhere, until somebody asks for it. So I am not sure whether the employer sends the I-9 form right away to INS or when asked.

The I-9 is kept in your personnel file.
INS only gets to see it if they do an audit of the company. Then the company shows the I-9 to prove that it only employs people who are legal.
