Hi ,
My dad is a green card holder , we apply for i131 application for travel Document , so they can stay in India for two years . They did Bio-metrics and left for India .
Now received letter from USCIS by I-797C "THE FBI WAS UNABLE TO PROCESS YOUR FINGERPRINT CARD. IN ORDER FOR THE U.S. CITIZENSHIP & IMMIGRATION SERVICES (USCIS) TO CONTINUE PROCESSING YOUR APPLICATION , PETITION, OR REQUEST , IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO HAVE YOUR FINGERPRINTS RE-TAKEN. THIS WILL BE COMPLETED AT NO ADDITIONAL EXPENSE TO YOU."
MY DAD JUST LEFT TO INDIA FOR FAMILY REASON AND NOT ABLE TO COME BACK TO USA IN NEAR FUTURE ..
Pleas advice what to do next . it's possible that USCIS can arrange fingerprints Re-taken in Indian US consulate ? if yes please let me know how to correspondence with USCIS about Re-fingerprint can be arrange at India.
