Need your help folks. I saw the previous posting about
the problem that concurrent I485 and CP creates after
getting GC with INS records having I485 A# instead of
CP A#. Looks like this may be due to the time lag that INS takes to remove data after I485 is withdrawn. Is this a major problem or just a nuisance that will get fixed once
INS updates their records. But doesnt the INS inspector at the port of entry enter the CP A# into the INS system?
I am at the point where my I140 with CP
was approved in May and I485 filed in June. I am planning
to mail Packet3 to Mumbai for CP interview in a few days.
Folks, do you advice me to send the Packet3 to process concurrent CP or will this create any problems after green card due to I485 A# being in the INS system even after CP gets approved resulting in problems with getting SS card changed? Thanks in advance.
