    Working abroad on a green card.

    I received my green card on 6/23/2014 and filed for my spouse's green card via consular processing on 09/2014. I have been told to work for my US company in UAE for 16 months starting 01/2015.

    Would this jeopardize my spouse's green card process?
    If I file for ren-entry permit, I should be ok as far as working abroad is concerned?

    Help with this would be really appreciated.
