My final divorce hearing is in June 2015. My 2 year GC expires Sept 2015. Should I apply for for the waiver right away or wait for the divorce and then file? If the whole process takes a long time, I'd rather start early than late but wanted to see what others had gone through.

Wait until you have the final divorce decree. If not available by a July or so, apply for the waiver with preliminary divorce documents.
