what is E32 category printed on my green card ?

First of all, I want to say thank you for immihelp and this website in giving so much information on the immigration issues. I think it should be categorized as one of the best immigration portal sites.

By the way, I received my card on 1/10/2001. Apply through CP as EB3 category.
Arrived at Chicago POE: 11/21/2000.
I'm single and from Indonesia.

I'm just wondering what is the meaning of EB32 instead of EB3 category ?
Anyone kind enough to explain that category ....
Is the number '2' after 'EB3' means the code-word for the Indonesia country ?

That means EB3, subsection 2, i.e., professional with bachelor degree.

EB3 is Section 203(b)(3), and EB3-2 is Section 203(b)(3)(A)(ii).

Actually it depends on the category and applicant.

So if you are in EB2, you as primary applicant will have E21 , your wife will have E22, and any other dependents will have E23, .... printed on your card


If you are in EB3, you will have E31, your spouse will have E32, and so on...
