Hello, I am a Palestinian working in the Middle East for the United Nations (UNRWA), and I am a green card holder (I acquired it by winning in a lottery). Every few months I travel to the US in order to preserve my residency, but then I have to go back to Lebanon to be with my wife (whom I applied for) and my children (one of which has a rare congenital heart disease and is four years old). Do you think my status as a green-card holder would expedite the citizenship process and affect my family's immigration file?
