I am a undergraduate student in Pakistan. I am here in the states to get my travelers permit renewed. I want to get the process expedited to that I am back in Pakistan in time for the start of the next semester that is by mid August. I filed the form mid June, the processing time from what i understand can go easily over that date.
What i want to know is this.
A- Does my school qualify as a Valid reason for expedition? ...
B- Under what category do I ask for expedition, I called the customer service and they asked me to select one of the following categories listed on their website.
1.Severe financial loss to company or person;
2.Emergency situations;
3.Humanitarian reasons;
4.Nonprofit organization whose request is in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States;
5.Department of Defense or National Interest Situation (Note: The request must come from an official U.S. Government entity and state that delay will be detrimental to the Government.);
6.USCIS error; or
7.Compelling interest of USCIS.
C-Also, I am not sure what kind of proof do i have to produce to show my enrollment at my University.
I would appreciate if someone can help me through this.
