Hello all!
This is my very first post and thank you in advance for taking a look at my question.
I have a green card that is expiring in October. I already filed an I-90 online last week and got the biometrics date (August 31st) and I-90 receipt.
However, I don't think I will be able to make it to the biometrics until November since I won't be in US until then.
Is it possible to postpone the biometrics that far (after green card expiration date)?
Also, will expired green card and I-90 receipt serve as a proof of permanent residency when I come back to US in November?
If the above scenario is impossible or too risky, I have another option of going to ASC office in Saipan later this month since I will be visiting there for a business.
First of all, is this even possible? Also, because of the typhoon that striked Saipan, I am not sure if I can actually do a walk-in appointment to Saipan's ASC office and get the biometrics done.
Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated!
Thank you!
