Hi guys,
My name is Giz and I've been thinking about moving to the US, Alaska, in a few years.
Now, for me I think the only way for me would be through the Green Card Lottery, now I do have some questions.
I am a true bush man, so my idea was after I received the card, to move to Alaska and basically live off the grid.
After taking care of everything, maybe build/buy a small cabin and go to remote places, maybe islands close to Ketchikan. And yeah, basically live on my own. And make use of the small communities/towns nearby.
Now, I am not quite sure if that's completely possible.
So my question is.. Is it possible to live outside of society in Alaska, off grid, after getting your green card through the lottery?
Or are there particular requirements that you have to follow through.
I would love to get some info! Even info that I didn't ask for.
