Here is my mother's situation
She came to California last year with B1-visa for my graduation, then during her stay, my sister try to petition her so she can stay and live with us. Unfortunately, after couple months, my grandmother was really sick in Viet Nam so my mom had to fly back home to take care of her. We did not realize (actually was not sure) that could she stay or must leave while wait for green card application process. Because according to the restriction of B1-Visa, my mom was allowed to stay 3 months each time and the visa was valid for one year. After my mom left 6 months, we got a letter from USCIS that my mother got green card interview waiver and received her green card few days after. So now i am going back to Vietnam with her green card, can my mom go through the custom with her green card or have to apply any special Visa? (note: her B1-Visa is already expired and the green card was granted in last March)
