Hello,
My boyfriend has a green card. More than two years ago, he was applying for re-entry permit for the first time - whole process last no longer than month. Now he came back to USA t o apply againt for re-entry permit. ( We understand that green card means he has chosen USA to live , but we want to go there together after I will graduate , and he needs to take care of his grandma by now ) . The application was send on 27th July but the lady in office made some mistakes and documents came back and we send them again on 5th August. And what is weard naw. He received two weeks later information that case is being processed. On the page where we can check case status , was infromation that they received his FORM I-131 on 17th August. Then on 3rd September the information changed to :On September 3, 2015, we received your Form I-131, Application For USCIS Travel Document, Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxxxxx, at your local office. And lately it changed to : On September 12, 2015, we received your Form I-131, Application For USCIS Travel Document, Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, at your local office.
What that means ? How long it could take to received fingerprints appointment ??
