Hello,
I am a permanent resident and I have a re-entry permit.
In September 2014, I received residency and immediately I requested a re-entry permit, two months later on November 2014 after fingerprints I immediately left the US for studying abroad.
Just after 3 months on March 2015 my re-entry was approved (while abroad) with validity of two years until March 2017.
My question is if I go back to the US on February 2017 I will be more than two years in a row outside the US but the re-entry permit will still be vaild till match 2017, is it a problem?
And if I enter the US this month on March for a week will it solve the problem and I can take advantage of the permit and return on February 2017?
I will appreciate an answer
Thanks in advance
