Hello,
I applied for the Condition on my green card to be removed and was approved on the 20th may. The approval notice was received in mail on 25th May. However, the GC was sent to the old address and the USPS tracking information says it got delivered, even though I have had mail forwarding setup. I filed for AR11, in December of 2015.
My questions are as follows:
I) Can the tracking information change automatically and updated after it says delivered, in case the mail is being returned? (I had a friend check at my old address, and the new residents said they don't have any mails, I am not sure where my GC is).
II) Shall I wait for the the specified time or shall I file I-90 right away?
III) Also, since the card was lost due to the fact that the card was sent at old address and was lost, do I still have to pay for the fee or is their a way they can tell me not to?
I have read on the Internet, that this is a common issue with USCIS sending the GC to the old address but all other mails to the new address.
Any suggestion or advise is appreciated.
