1year 6 month and I 751 still not approved!

Hello everyone!I am new on this forum and I hope I am posting in the right place.
I applied for remove of conditions in July 2015 and my case it still processing.This year in august I received a RFE ,sent everything back and still nothing.When I called Uscis 2 months ago they said that my case was sent at local office for an interview but I still don't have a date and if I go online to check on my case the latest update is in 2015 when they received my case.There is nothing there about the RFE or interview.Is this normal?Anyone went through a process this long?

If you want to naturalize, one way to speed up ROC is to apply for naturalization (which you should be eligible for now). Otherwise you can just wait. Get an I-551 stamp if your extension letter is expired.
