So you've been married to a US citizen for 8 years, were issued a 10-year green card, and have had it for 2 years. Is that correct? Your green card will not be affected even though you obtained it through marriage. You had been married for 6 years or so, when your case was approved. Therefore, you marriage had passed the 2-year test a long time ago. That's why you got a 10-year card.
If you're married to a US citizen, you're eligible for citizenship after 3 years minus 90 days of marriage to that US citizen who must have been a US citizen for those 3 years, as well. Otherwise, you're eligible for citizenship after 5 years as a permanent resident.
