I am a conditional green card holder and have applied for a re-entry permit because I will be spending about 12 months travelling outside of the US starting in July. I am currently waiting for my biometrics appointment, however would it be permissible for me to leave the US for a couple of weeks and return (after completing my biometrics appointment) while this is pending and before leaving for my year away?
