My wife received her I-797 paper a few months ago and is traveling to Mexico in a few days with her I-797 form, passport, and expired green card. She is planning to stay almost 2 months and visit with her family for the summer. Is it advisable to stay for that length of time under those conditions, or should she shorten the trip?
