Travelling India for 5 months with GC

Hi,
I will be travelling with my baby son to India for 5 months.I have GC (Green Card) and he has citizenship.

1.Is it ok for me during re entry or I need to get re entry permit or travel documents
2.Will this impact me when I apply for citizenship (such as the numbe rof months I was out of USA?)
