Re-entry with Green Card

Hello All,
I have received my GC on June 3rd 2018 and returned back to India on June 25th 2018 without applying for re-entry permit.

I am planning to comeback to the US in the week of December 20th, 2018. This time I am planning to search for a job in the US.

Just wanted to know are there any potential issues I may face at port of entry.

Please let me know your experiences and suggestions.

You can stay outside at least 180 days (6 months). You are safe and do not need re-entry permit.
Enjoy your stay and have chill travel with your GC.

That would be UP TO 180 days without re-entry permit, not AT LEAST.

Just be careful to not let immigration think you are not serious about living in the USA. I would do nothing or push to limits anything that will create a red flag. I did not even use my travel document until I received my green card...be smart

The green card itself can be used for re-entry, without Re-entry Permit, after an absence of up to 1 year.
