Hello everyone, this is my very first post.
I've been a LPR for more than a year now (since Mar 2005).
I've got a job offer in London with a US consulting firm which will last for about a year. Consequently I've filed for a reentry permit before leaving this autumn.
My work would entail lot's of trips back to the US. This would mean that I would never be away from the US for more than 6 months at a time, hence preserving the continuous residence technically.
My concern is that, would having a reentry permit automatically destroy the continuous residence even though I will not ever make a trip greater than 6 months?
Really badly need some insight, thanks!
