applying for GC please help

Hi there!
I would really appreciate any help regarding my issue, if there is anybody who knows anything please write
i want to apply fot GC and i am currently engaged, in application form it says that we need to list our spouses only, what will happen if i don't put his name as he is not my husband yet, but we are definately getting married in 4 month time. if i win, will he be eligible or he will have to apply for the visa which as i have read takes about 4-5 years. likewise he wants to apply as well but doesn't know if he should list me as his wife or not. that application form is for year 2008, do we have to be married at the point when we apply to get GC together, or if we say that we are married will they check the date of the registration.

Nothing should be listed in the spouse field as you are not married yet.

There is no problem. You can add your spouse at any stage before you actually get the green card.
