  • Replacing GC after long absence

    Hi,

I'm a 32-year old foreign national. When I was 15 (in 1990) I was issued with a GC. A couple of years later my family and I moved out of the US and I have only been back for regular but brief visits since then.

I'd like to file an I-90 to replace this GC to live and work in the US. Do I stand a chance? Would filing online be a suitable road to go down? What are the next steps after filing? I'm in England at the moment.

You have already lost your green card status and you can't file I-90.
