    Urgent need to enter the US

    Hi,
    my mom has a big problem. She went to Russia 1 year and 9 months ago. One month before she was supposed to come back to the US she was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed to be operated immediately and then needed treatment, long treatment that could not be interrupted. The treatment had just ended and now she can go home, but how? SHould she apply for the SB1? But she needs to come to the US before August of this year!! IS there any way??
    Please, someone who knows, help us.

    more info. needed. is your mother a US citizen? a Green Card holder? a Visa holder? I don't understand why she can't re-enter.

      She is a GC holder. She's been out of the US for more than a year and didn't have a reentry permit. That's why she can't reenter

        visit local consulate for assistance and travel papers.
