I want anybody who has been through this scenario to explain to me what I should do or why things are slow. I was given two years and I filed for removal of condition on my residence. I was called for interview and the officer denied us due to a mistake that was not ours. My lawyer appealled and it was turned down. She advised me on refilling i-751 again. I received a receipt showing an extension on my alien card, and I was asked to go for finger printing. It is over six months now and I have not heard anything form their office. I understand that they are backlogged with application. Please can someone help explain what exactly is going on and what I should do next.
