My wife recently got her green card and wants to visit her parents in China however, she lost her china issued passport. Today we then went to the consulate office in los angeles to get a new one. They asked for a police report and the original I-94 (orginal stamps). The police report is obtainable but the I-94 was loss with her passport. Can she replace her passport without the i-94 or does she have to wait 5 years to become a citizen and get a u.s. passport?
