Green card approved but not received and flying abroad
My green card was approved 1 month ago but I have not received it yet. called Uscis and they say they can't do anything until exactly 30 days !
i am flying abroad in 5 days. so my lawyer recommended I-551 stamp in the passport. I have an infopass for that. My qustion is that; do they stamp your passport on the same day without any problems in such cases or they give you run arounds like they always do ???
of course I will take all my documents and copies with me to the appointment. I will even take my airline ticket with me.
it's an irony, I had a valid advance parole document which I cant use now as my green card is approved. I am going for my brother's wedding
