Traveling the Europe.

My wife who is from Belgium has her green card now and would one day like to visit her home country again. I know she can travel with the greencard and her passport, but this is our question.

When my wife and I decide to fly to Belgium, will she have to go through a different customs check since she is still a Belgian citizen and only a permanent resident? Or can we both go in the same lines and same checks?

on the way back to the united states, you two will go in the same immigration line for US citizens and Residents.

on the way to Belgium, you may have to be in different lines.
