Can I file for dual citizenship when temporarily outside of US?
Hi Immihelp team,
1. Due to family reasons I had to go overseas to stay here a while. I (LPR) don't know if it will be less than 1 year, or a little more. Can I still file for US citizenship and remain dual citizenship from overseas?
2. I didn't apply for a re-entry permit before I had to leave. Will this be a problem for me? Do I MUST return before 1 year? Or, do I have to file for SB-1 visa?
Any advice, or info would be greatly appreciated.
