Hi All,
I am an Indian Citizen. I have my Green Card which is valid. I am married to a British Citizen. Soon I shall be getting "Indefinite Stay" in the UK.
When I get "Indefinite Stay" in the UK do I have to surrender my Green Card to USA authorites.
My USA permanent residenceship is valid because I used to come to the USA every year just to keep my status alive.
Do you know of any immigration law written in black & white that I have to surrender my USA permanent residenceship if I gain Indefinite Leave to Remain in another country.
My ultimate motive is to gain British Citizenship and surrender my Indian Citizenship. With my British Citizenship I want to retain my current status as a "Lawful Permanent Resident" of USA.
All opinions will be much appreciated.
