Declaring GC and apply for VISA

I have GC(conditional) since 2006.I have had Re-entry permit and stayed outside USA for 1 yr and 2 months.Recently I am back in USA.To get US citizenship I might have to wait till 2010 April to apply.

I am just wondering if I voluntarily declare my GC, will I get visa to come to USA as I have business with USA?

Declare? you mean Surrender/Give Up/Return/Decline?

If so, then nobody can predict whether you will get a visitor visa or not. That is up to the VOs and you to prove non-immigrant intent and though giving up a GC helps, it is not all of the equation.
