Hi My son 7 years old. He got his I 485 approved in Nov 2007. He did not receive his Green Card physically. Several times I enquired with USCIS but so far no proper response. Now he has gone to India for studies this year 2008. he stayed in US only for 3 months.
Meanwhile when he was here I got I 551 stamp in his passport after getting an infopass and is valid till May 08 2009.
By going back to India does it affect his Green Card status this year and can he return next year to US.
