Greencard outside USA

Hi there,
we won a greencard in the lottery, activated it by traveling to the US
this year and are now thinking who to continue.

We are from Germany and are unable to move to the US at the moment because of private reasons but don´t want to loose our status.

Is there a other chance to keep it instead of traveling to the US every single year???

Can we apply for a reentry permit outside the US anyhow?

Or is there another way???

Please help because we want to go to the US in the future.
