  • retaining my GC status of Infoyogi

I had applied for GC through Infoyogi and the company was very nice all along to me and I got my I-140 approved, through them. Due to someones misguidence immediately after getting my I140, I resigned to accept a job from another large company. Now this large company wants to lay me off due to the bad economy. Now the job market is bad and I am not getting suitable jobs. Because of my bad behaviour to Infoyogi, I do not have a face to go back to them for a job again. In fact Infoyogi already helped my transition to this curent company by giving all the GC documentation, references, etc. I know it is aleardy out of the way for them, for I what I did to them. They were too nice.

Will my EAD be extended automatically even if I do not find a similar job with the same job description that Infoyogi gave, in their labor certification? Please advice.

    No... :>p

Why is it that people think that an employment based GC is any different than a family based one? in the sense of... if you marry an USC and get a GC, the purpose is that you stay married...

In the same way, when you apply for a GC through ONE employer, the point is for you to remain working for that employer, for at least a number of years...
