  • Financial aid from government

    Hi,

I recently obtained my greencard, and was looking at the benefits associated with it from your website. I am a Canadian citizen and just got my green card. It says that I am eligible to apply for government financial aid for education, would that still apply for me if I intend finisihing my last two university years in the states. Or do I have to have a parent working in the country for a minimum of two years?

    Thanks

You don't have to have your parent working in the US for that.

      Ok,

But don't I need to have a parent that pays taxes to the US for a minimum of two years?

I am not sure where you are getting that requirement from.
