Sir,
Due to personal reasons, I desire to return to Chennai,India,next month, once for all. I have completed 4 years as Green card holder and possess Social Security Card also. After reaching Chennai, I plan to surrender the above two original documents to US Consulate ,Chennai. May I knw, what is the procedure to return the documents. Any form is available. How to get appointment to return the documents. Can I mention on the covering letter the reason for surrendering the documents as : Personal inconvenience or any other suitable reason.I may apply after 3/4 years for visitors visa and visit USA for a couple of months only. Will the present surrender affect the future application for visitors' visa.
