Hi Folks,
My cousin is planning to be in India for next two years (along with his family). He and his wife pocess GC. Hence he wants to apply for reentry permit. But, my cousin's wife has already gone to India. My cousin is still in US and planning to leave in a month.
I have following questions in regards to this:
1. Can my cousin apply for re-entry permit on behalf of his wife?
2. Immigration site says that the re-entry permit needs to applied before leaving US. But his wife has already left to India. Is it possible for my cousin to apply for re-entry for her, without she coming back to US for apply for this permit?
