After green card

I got my green crad recently. My question is my I-94 is going to expire very soon, which i got when i came to united states. Do i have to renew my I-94?

How did you obtain a GC? when did you receive the I-94 and what visa did you last use to enter?

Through employment. Came in as H1B visa. Got I-94 in April 2006.
