Hi,
I have to prepare my wife's passport. I got married in December-2008.
Her name is transfered from her native place's ration card into my native place's ration card. I have applied for her passport. But the process got stuck in between due to following issue.
1. My wife's surname is 'Mistri' in all her document (LC, 10th/12th/graduation markhssets and certificates ). But her father's surname is 'Prajapati'.
2. I have prepared a marrige certificate (in gujarati) in which her father's surname is written as 'Prajapati'
3. She is having election card from her native place as photo id proof. But in that the surname is 'Prajapati'.
She doesn't have any other photo id proof.
4. The residential address proof from her native place (i.e. phone bill and light bill) are with her grand father's name.
They are not with her father's name. Also in phone bill her grand father's surname is 'Mistry' and in light bill it is 'Prajapati'
How can I apply for passport with all this documents?
What all supporting documents do I need to provide along with other documents.
The agent through whom I had applied is saying that in marrige certificate her father's surname should be 'Mistri' instead of
'Prajapati'.
Kindly provide a proper guidens.
