time between filing I-131 and appointment for finger print

1. Could anyone tell me how long it takes to receive the appointment card for finger printing after filing I-131 for re-entry permit?
2. Can I still file electronically for I-131?
3. This is the second time I apply for I-131. And I could not find my old expired re-entry permit and I could not remember if US port had taken my old entry permit or not when I entered 1.5 years ago. But I know it had expired. How does this affect my applying the re-entry permit second time?

Typically the finger print notice/request is mailed within 2-3 weeks. My receipt date was December 26, received my receipt notice on January 9th and finger print request January 13th. If you filed through an attorney--check with them immidiately...they might have it.

I just sent in my I-131 request on 14th April and got my fingerprint appointment for 22th April. I was surprise as I had given myself 6 weeks for this, given most of the advise I'd seen on the discussions boards was saying 4-6 weeks. I put Expedite on the envelope. Good luck.

I'm going to send in the I-131 and would like to do it "Expedite". Where did you get the two prepaid, self addressed return envelops, FedEx? Did you used the fastest one (same day or next day)? Thanks.
