I485 process, security clearance and background check ...

Could some one please explain how USCIS process I485, especially security clearance and background check?

The reason I’m asking, I had some arguments with one of my landlord in India before coming to US and that landlord should not create any problem.

Any feedback would be really appreciated.

Unless you have a criminal record, you have nothing to worry about. Arguments with a landlord or your next door neighbor do not have any impact.
