Green Card stay more than 6 month and close to 1 year

Hi ,

I chandra and my wife got Green Card in Aug 10th 2008.
My wife and son went to india on May 28th 2008 at that time my wife status is on H4 only.

My son status is US Citizen.

Case 1:
My wife does not have green card when she went to india
Can my wife come to USA with green card?
Does she need to go to US consulate in india ?

Case 2 :
Family comes before May 27th 2009 (within 1 year)
Do we need to report to US consulate in india
Do we need apply readmission if so what is readmission form and where can we get it
Before coming to USA What steps we have takecare in terms of documentation
What questions can we expect at port of entry and any suggestions to answer their question

Case 3 :Family comes after May 27th 2009 (Morethan 1 year)
Do we need to report to US consulate in india
Do we need apply readmission if so what is readmission form and where can we get it
Before coming to USA What steps we have takecare in terms of documentation
What questions can we expect at port of entry and any suggestions to answer their question

Case 4:What steps to take when there is problem at port of entry?

Note : Now I lost my job for last 6 months .
Can they ask any questions related to my job status


After coming to USA then she can go back to india within a month

Please let me know any suggestions and procedure
