Your website on immihelp looks great.Could I request your guidance on the following:
Obtained Permanent Resident Status Dec 2004,while in the US
Since then visited India only between July 2008-Oct 2008
May be visiting India again this year in July or August 2009,and would like to obtain a Rentry Permit,and intend to apply for this before leaving.
Will this rentry permit application/authorisation be jeopardised If one visits Canada for 5 days between 13th June and 17th June.?
The govt website says on can apply for an rentry permit one year after lawful entry as a permanent resident:does this refer to the date green card status. was granted or does it refer to the last entry into the US while having green card status.
The form for applying for rentry permit asks one to loist all absences including small ones to contiguous countries !
