Dear sir,
My father in law is a green card holder for many years and had worked here (now retired) and his wife, children & grand children (all US citizens) stays in USA. He goes to India every year for some months(less than a year) and comes back to see his family and goes back again to India, where he has some property and his sister & relatives.
In this case, how many days/months minimum he has to stay in US to keep his Green card clean so that the resident status will be maintained without problems, by immigration authorities?
