Hi there,
I am trying to find out if I can travel to Canada for a few day during Labor Day weekend in early September.
Here’s the situation…
I am a permanent resident for almost 20 years.
My passport & green are both expired and shows a picture of myself at 9 years of age.
Passport is in the process of being updated from the local embassy. Will not be ready before September.
I am wondering if applying for a reentry permit will be enough to travel to Montreal, Canada and coming back to US without too much hassle.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to make this trip possible. Thank you.
