After SB-1 Visa

Hi,

I got my SB-1 visa approval and have another consular interview scheduled. I have to submit medical reports, police certificates etc. My question is that once I get the visa in hand and go to the United States, what is the procedure? Do I have to get my greencard renewed with the USCIS? If yes, then what are the time frames I am looking at? I have 2 kids and am a single parent. I need to find a job and gradually move my family back to the United States.

My son has GC and expired re-entry permit. How to get the SB-1.
