Hi There.
Hope someone can advise - we entered the US last year on the 28th of December and returned to South Africa to finalize all our affairs before our move to the US. We didn't manage to finalize everything and can only make the move now in next year. I do realize that we (my husband and I) need to enter the US within one year but do we have to take our children ages 2 and 5 with us? If we make the final move in next year will there be consequences? Strickly speaking they could lose their green cards as it would be seen as abandonment of residence status?? Or do they retain theirs on the grounds that we as parents have it?
